Scope
These terms apply only to direct bookings. For Airbnb, Booking.com or other platforms, the cancellation rules shown by that platform during booking apply.
Free cancellation
- Cancellation is free of charge if made within 24 hours after booking and at least seven full days remain between booking confirmation and the agreed check-in.
- Irrespective of that, cancellation is free of charge until five full days before the agreed check-in time of 3 pm.
Later cancellation or no-show
For a later cancellation or no-show, the price of the first night plus 50% of the price of all remaining booked nights will be charged.
Reletting and proof of lower loss
Expenses saved and revenue earned by reletting the cancelled period will be credited. The guest may demonstrate that no loss or a substantially lower loss occurred.
Cancellation by the operator
If the operator cancels a confirmed booking and no equivalent alternative is agreed, payments already made will be refunded in full. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Refunds
A refund due will normally be made to the payment method used for booking. Processing times of banks and payment providers may affect when the credit appears.
How to cancel
Please give notice in text form, including the guest name, travel dates and booking number, to danielmuschler@googlemail.com. The demonstrable time of receipt is decisive.
No statutory withdrawal right
There is no statutory 14-day withdrawal right for accommodation tied to a specific date or period (section 312g(2)(9) German Civil Code). These cancellation terms remain unaffected.
Insurance
Travel cancellation insurance is recommended.
